.. and I’ll give you a beep.
For years I’ve been without a microwave. Really never needed one, or so I thought.
When I was married we had a microwave in the first flat that we rented, then there was a gap of nearly eight years until we were in our ow home and given an old, unused microwave from the in-laws and we found it to be quite a useful utility for re-heating cold pizzas, enjoying porridge in the mornings, and to make jacket potatoes. It died after a few months of use, and it was never replaced.
My father very kindly bought me a new microwave for Christmas this year. I’ve been quite enthusiastic about it, and the past couple of days have seen me microwave everything I can get my hands on. Ready meals, pizzas, porridge, you name it, it’s been microwaved. It’s like living in the future! As well as a microwave it’s also a conventional oven/grill. I’ve yet to try that out, but I’m sure it’ll be useful as and when I find something small enough to fit into it.
