I had no idea they’d released the first trailer for Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman’s adaptation of Mark Millar’s Kingsman: The Secret Service. I just only hope it’s better than Kick-Ass 2. I really didn’t enjoy that very much at all.
What’s interesting is that the trailer shows the final version of a stunt I saw performed outside of the office at work (and believe me, this sort of thing goes on a LOT where we’re based).
I managed to hastily capture some of it waiting outside the office. Additionally (the next day IIRC) I saw the final preparation of the scene further up the runway in which they turned the whole thing into a London street, resplendent with lights, buses, parked cars, etc. – all of which you see in the trailer. Hard to believe that’s a runway isn’t it? BUT IT IS!
This is the the rehearsal:
This is the final shot as it’ll appear in the film (I’ve cued it up for you lovely people and everything – but if you want to watch it elsewhere, it’s about 18-19 seconds into the trailer):
